Hi, I’m Leigh, a wedding photographer from the seaside town of Kilkeel, Northern Ireland. I picked up my first camera at 14, originally as a way to get into concerts thanks to my love of music. I grew up playing drums in punk and metal bands, and when I wasn’t on stage, my camera was my backstage pass.
I’m married to my wife Rachel, and together we have three amazing kids — Henry, Ivy and Robyn — plus a very large dog called Juno. I’m also completely addicted to running, so apologies in advance if it sneaks into conversation more than once.
Rachel and I got married in 2018 in her parents’ front garden, which means I genuinely understand what couples go through when planning a wedding. I shot my first wedding in 2010 and have since photographed over 350 weddings across some of the most beautiful venues in the UK and Ireland. I treat every wedding as if it were my own — relaxed, fun, and focused on capturing exactly what matters to you (with plenty of laughs along the way).
I’m proud to be a member of two of the most respected photography associations in the UK and Ireland: PPANI and SWPP, holding an Associateship with both. I’ve been lucky enough to receive several awards for my work, which I’m incredibly grateful for — they’re a reflection of years of hard work and the trust my couples place in me.
